Our introductory session offers a direct experience of weaving on a Japanese floor loom. You will learn the basic operation of the loom, explore different structures and materials, and create a woven piece through hands-on engagement with the process.

We also offer dedicated scarf and cushion weaving workshops, where participants develop their own woven pieces using Japanese floor looms.

These sessions are open to all levels. You will be guided through the process of weaving, from working with prepared warps to exploring a range of materials and techniques, supported by experienced instructors throughout.

Working with high-quality fibres and studio equipment, participants engage directly with the structure and rhythm of the loom, allowing each piece to develop through a focused, hands-on process.

The workshops are paced to allow time for concentration and making, offering a sustained and immersive experience of weaving.
