Fixed-Day Weaving Membership

Please note: Studio Membership is available to returning weavers who have previously completed a workshop at Freeweaver Studio. Please purchase one membership only and select Thursday or Friday as your regular studio day.

Make weaving part of your weekly rhythm with a regular day at Freeweaver Studio.

Fixed-Day Loom Membership gives returning weavers the time, equipment and continuity to develop their own work independently. Choose either Thursday or Friday as your regular studio day and work on one of our Japanese floor looms from 12pm–6pm.

You can attend every occurrence of your chosen weekday while your membership is active—including months with five Thursdays or Fridays.

Membership includes

• A full studio day every Thursday or every Friday
• Access from 12pm–6pm
• Use of a Japanese floor loom and studio equipment
• Reasonable use of the standard studio yarn collection
• Storage for one ongoing project and a reasonable quantity of personal materials
• The continuity of a regular weekly weaving practice
• Monthly membership with no long-term commitment

Specialist, luxury or unusually large quantities of yarn are charged separately.

Who is membership for?

Membership is designed for returning weavers who have previously completed a workshop at Freeweaver Studio and feel confident using the equipment independently.

This is independent loom time rather than a taught workshop, although we will be available for occasional practical questions.

Ongoing work

Members may store one labelled ongoing project in their allocated studio space. Work may sometimes need to be removed from the loom between membership days so that the equipment remains available for other studio activity.

Keeping a project permanently mounted on a dedicated loom is not included.

Places are limited

Your membership begins when you join and renews automatically each month on the same date. Your first studio day will be the next occurrence of your chosen Thursday or Friday. You may cancel before your next renewal.
